No Lying Governors

           Californians are cursed again with a lack of decent candidates for Governor this year. The only Democrat,  Junior Brown is a prehistoric joke.

           There is Meg Whitman who is spending tons of money early in the process to squash other candidates. I must say, though, that while somewhat vague on specifics of how she will turn  California around, she is equipped to do so, in my view and she doesn’t lie.

           That leaves us with State Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner. He may be rich, he may have been a techie nerd who made a ton of money but he is the worst of the three candidates and he is so because he is a liar and a fraud. Brown, on the other hand, is just a fraud.

           By resurrecting the lies and frauds previously touted by California politicians that it’s all the fault of illegal aliens that millions of healthy taxpayers have scurried out of California and that thousands of businesses have abandoned the “Golden State” and its high taxes and crushing business regulations, Poizner has a simple solution – blame the illegals for the disaster—all three or four million of them.

           The next step will be to point out that as most illegals are Mexican. We know where that goes.

           In a Los Angeles Times Op-ed, Poizner wrote: “… California simply cannot continue to ignore the strain that illegal immigration puts on our budget and economy. Illegal aliens cost taxpayers in our state billions of dollars each year.”

           Poizner charges that “illegals cost taxpayers in our state billions of dollars each year” but neglects to point out that the illegals themselves are taxpayers. He also doesn’t identify any specific numbers or programs that are involved. Why, because he doesn’t know. He doesn’t know that illegals pay billions in taxes, billions, Poizner, billions. They do so in their rents, moron, they pay property taxes in their rents. They pay income taxes, state sales taxes, gasoline taxes and they play the Lottery.

           He quotes some economist that “illegals impose a tax on legal California residents in the tens of billions of dollars.” He doesn’t try to prove it because it is also a lie. Why, because most anti-immigrant studies charge off educational cost of ALL immigrant children or citizen children of all immigrants. That is fraudulent.

           Poizner: “In government at any level, federal or state, a chief executive's duty is to preserve the rule of law. This also means confronting those who flout it, including illegal immigrants and those who shield them.” Baloney, neither the state nor the governor can enforce immigration law nor even ask anyone their citizenship. Poizner lies again.

          Poizner says: “I believe there are many ways our state can stem the flow of illegal immigration, including social services reform and beefed-up border security.” Lies again… What can the state do about beefing up “border security?” Send the National Guard? That’s been tried and it failed because National Guardsmen can only sweep floors, direct traffic and drive vans for the Border Patrol.

          Poizner says: “Above all, California has too many policies that reward illegal aliens and act like magnets, drawing them to and keeping them in our cities and communities. We have to change those policies.” Name the policies, Poizner, name them and list their specific dollar amounts along with each and every tax dollar illegals pay.

          Poizner does get specific on in-state tuition. On this issue he is fraudulent: “One taxpayer-funded benefit for illegal aliens that should be stopped is in-state tuition at our public colleges and universities. Today, California is one of just 10 states that allow illegal immigrants access to reduced college tuition at taxpayer expense.”  Ok, Poizner, tell us how many illegals there are taking “advantage “of this “benefit.”  Answer:  Less than one percent; the State University, the University of California and the state’s community colleges report that less than one percent of all students in our higher education system are taking “advantage” of this benefit.

          Poizner on sending National Guard troops to the border. We must, “to assist federal authorities.” What a stupid thing to suggest. Cost us more money to send janitorial help to the border? Come on Poizner. Don’t you realize that Guardsmen can’t ask citizenship, can’t arrest anyone? 

Poizner is an idiot. 

          Here is absolute proof that Poizner is an idiot; he says: “To those currently debating a new immigration bill in Washington, I have just two words: no amnesty.”

           Typical nerd that he is, Poizner proves he isn’t qualified to be governor because he doesn’t speak or understand English. No Congressional proposal in Washington on immigration contains “amnesty,” none. He uses that word because of its emotional impact on his fellow idiots.

           Steve Poizner is an idiot, a rich loser idiot.
