Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean is a complete idiot. Those who voted for him to be chairman are complete idiots.  Those who voted for Dean in Democratic primaries last year are complete idiots.

I am a Republican; I have been one since I first registered to vote in January of 1962. Dean was a child then, a Republican child of “privilege,” In other words, he was and is a rich spoiled brat who came by his politics and sustenance from his rich stockbroker father. A father who “never worked a day in his life,” according to Dean.

I came by my Republicanism by study and by what was going around me from the time I first noticed government and politics.  I came by my Republicanism by looking at the world through my own eyes and experiences.  I was a Cold War Warrior and that struggle was the most important part of how I looked at the world. I joined the Marines during college.

Rich boy Dean, on the other hand, skipped out on serving the country after college because he had a “bad back.” So, while I served, he went skiing.

Now he trips around the country declaring that Republicans, myself included, have never worked a day in our privileged lives even as I now work seven days a week up to 16 hours a day, starting as I am a new business. He says that I am a “white Christian” as if that is some form of racial and religious arrogance.  I am Roman Catholic, like Dean used to be.

What’s funny is that this tripe is from a man who never managed to appoint a Black or Hispanic official while serving as governor of the state of Vermont. One should note that 7% of Vermont’s prison inmates are Black but not one Black served in Dean’s administration.

Moreover, while he makes his “white Christian” declarations, the Republican National Chairman is Jewish.  No Democratic National Chairman has ever been Jewish, despite heavy Jewish Democratic vote and financial support. No Democratic Chairman has ever been a woman despite heavy single women support for Democrats. No Democratic Chairman has ever been Black despite a 90% Black Democratic vote. While he continues to disparage Republicans with his implications that they are racially and religiously intolerant, he can point out few examples of tolerance and acceptance in his party.

Name one Black that Democrats have ever put into a true position of power in any Democratic administration--Secretary of State, for example. Name one Hispanic Democrats have ever placed in a powerful and responsible position in the federal government—Attorney General, for example, or White House Counsel.

Howard Dean represents the good old white boy network that has run the Democratic Party since Thomas Jefferson wrote that “Negroes” stunk (smelled peculiar for the politically correct) because they urinated through the pores of their skins. Howard Dean reflects the very worst of America, a blind white guy who can’t see people for what they are. In that he joins some Republicans who take the same view when they “fight” affirmative action in college admissions, or support all-white labor unions.   

To suggest, as Dean does, that his Democratic Party serves the political and economic needs of Blacks and Hispanics and that Republicans don’t is a lie.  One only has to look at the Clinton Administration and its appointments to office to see that Democrats hugely fail in every respect. 

Examples: Black unemployment under Clinton was always double that of whites and always higher than that of Hispanics. AIDS infections among Blacks and Puerto Ricans skyrocketed during the Clinton Administration. Recent studies indicate that high school graduation-rates among Blacks and Hispanics actually worsened during the Clinton Years.

Democratic Blacks still have the highest poverty rates in the country even after 8-years of Clinton Democrats.  Black illegitimate births still predominate in the Black community even after 8-years of Clinton Democrats. Blacks still have the highest unemployment rates in the country even after 8-years of Democratic Clinton rule.

Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean is a complete bust. 

His denigration of Republicans falls far short of reality when the Republicans have a National Chairman who is Jewish and have Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice and Alberto Gonzalez as the highest ranking Blacks and Hispanics in American history running the country’s most powerful and sensitive cabinet departments. Howard Dean forgets that no Democrat ever nominated a Black woman to serve on the 2^nd Circuit Court of Appeals like George Bush has done with newly-confirmed Janice Rogers Brown.

History proves that Howard Dean’s Democratic Party has failed in promoting the over-all interests of the minority populations of the country.  Just look at Howard Dean’s Vermont and how he ran it with while governor. He managed without a single Black in his administration.  I guess he couldn’t find a Colin Powell or Condolezza Rice to appoint.  That’s because they are  Republicans.
