Senator Kerry is not
the Best and the Brightest! Massachusetts Senator John Kerry is a liar and an idiot. His bitter attack on anyone shocked by his slam at those serving in Iraq was hysterical at best and stupid at worst. He totally insulted those in uniform by evoking that if they had just done their homework and studied harder they might succeed in life instead of serving – "being stuck" in Iraq. This from a man whose test scores and grades in college were lower than either former Vice-president Al Gore’s or President George W. Bush’s. Kerry—"Senator John McCain needs to demand an apology" from elsewhere not from him." It was John Kerry who insulted American soldiers, sailors and Marines, not the President or what Kerry called "stuffed suits" or John McCain, or Senator Hillary Clinton who called his words "inappropriate." Even Congressman Harold Ford, desperately behind in his race for a Tennessee senate seat called for Kerry to "apologize." Lie, numero uno: Kerry--In his Halloween statement, the President lied about Iraq’s nuclear efforts in Africa. Wrong, it’s a lie, Kerry. British intelligence reported that Iraq was active in Africa with regard to "yellow cake" necessary to fuel a nuclear program. Bush didn’t lie. He reported what one of the world’s finest intelligence agencies reported…Kerry lies. Lie, numero dos: Senator Kerry, didn’t almost all-military officers study hard and do their homework so they could graduate from college (97 percent of all commissioned officers are now college graduates)? Of course they did. Weren’t most reservists called to active duty for Iraq better educated than many others in the country? In my old Marine Corps Reserve unit I worked with four enlisted men that all had more advanced degrees than I did, and I had 5 years of college. Is Kerry alone in his contempt for the Americans serving in Iraq? No, actually I’ve heard other Bush critics say the same or worse. For example, I watched a mother of a slain soldier tearfully state on television that she knew her son was dead but that she didn’t know why. What a stupid statement for her to make! Her son and all the sons and daughters so far killed in Iraq knew why they were there and why they were serving. Her tearful statement was and is stupid. It doesn’t matter if she didn’t know why he died. He knew. He wasn’t a draftee; he was a volunteer, as are all of our people in today’s military. He wasn’t even Black or Brown. He was white. Kerry stated in the past that he was against an "all-volunteer" Army because it would be full of Blacks and Browns from America’s poverty class. Wrong, Senator. The overwhelming number in the Army are White with healthy percentages of Blacks and Browns but as Iraq casualty figures clearly show, Whites far outnumber Blacks and Browns in the wounded and killed. Kerry was and is wrong. As for Kerry’s position on Iraq, we must remember that he originally voted to authorize the action against Iraq before he changed his mind and "voted against it." When the "peace party" nominated him for President, he changed his spots and came out against the war then underway. His change was to be expected because he had done the same during the Vietnam War. Kerry turned against his fellow Vietnam War veterans and accused them all of atrocities and war crimes. He led an anti-war veteran’s group and testified in front of Democratic Senators, an act for which he was roundly criticized by many. In 2004, that appearance destroyed any chance the Senator had for the Presidency. Almost to the man, those who served with Kerry in Vietnam campaigned against him vigorously. They were called the Swift Boat Veterans (SBV). They were right and they were instrumental in his huge defeat at the polls. Many of his supporters were upset that Kerry didn’t fight the SBV as energetically as he should have. Of course, he really couldn’t because most everything they said about him was true. To this day, Kerry has not authorized the U.S. Navy to release all of his Service Record documents. On Meet the Press, Kerry told Tim Russert he would instruct the Navy to release his full record book, we are still waiting because he lied to Russert. Thus, his Halloween statement and his fighting stance are built on flimsy and fraudulent foundations. His refusal to even acknowledge that he simply said something stupid about American soldiers being "stuck" in Iraq because they didn’t do their "homework" proves he is a fraud. This reminds one of a televised longhaired Kerry pontificating about things of which he had no personal knowledge and of throwing his "medals" away in protest. Of course, he now says he didn’t throw his medals away. Kerry says he actually voted for the Iraq action before he voted against it. He now says that President Bush misled and lied to him and that is why he, a mature Yale graduate and lawyer, voted to support the war. He now says that American soldiers, sailors and Marines are so uneducated (stupid, actually) that they are there and those who do their homework and try to "smart" up are here enjoying, we can "assume," the good life. He now "apologizes" if anyone "misinterpreted" what he meant as a "botched" joke, and he apologizes if anyone was offended by his "botched" joke. No apology is demanded from these precincts, Senator, your resignation will do quite nicely.
