Proof that the anti-war, anti-Bush people among us are simply not operating on all cylinders is in their own words. Here from a Santa Barbara surfer boy, an Anglo native-born American with no military service, is his response to the article I wrote about the huge December 15th Iraq election.

"…right now updating myself on Israel's pending air strike against Iran."

Let’s see, the leader of the Iranian government calls the Holocaust a "myth." Iran defies the entire world and the United Nations by continuing nuclear production and enriched uranium research all aimed at producing nuclear weapons. And Surfer boy worries about a "pending" Israeli air strike against Iranian nuclear production that most thoughtful people would welcome as an alternative to Iranian fanatics having nuclear weapons.

"from first glimpse (sic) your article is pro-conventional military when non-conventional has fully frustrated Anglo effort in Iraq and is not suffering any lack of volunteers (suicide or otherwise) or arms."

Since when have the terrorists controlled any territory, or institutions, or massed huge street demonstrations supporting them or their cause? In fact, they have no cause. They have no public leader; they have no army, they have no help from outside nations except from a handful of extremist Islamo-Fascists. No Government is helping them openly as was the case in Vietnam that had three separate countries helping the rebels.

They have not "fully frustrated" anything. Commerce works, traffic moves, schools operate, oil is pumped, farmers plant and harvest, newspapers, television and radio facilities work every day—there is little "frustration," there are just some inconveniences and some casualties, mostly Iraq casualties.

Thus, in a phrase, there is NO meaningful non-traditional revolution, nor effort worth much.

"as murtha has said (sic) the will of the American public lacks the ultra-long term dedication needed for "victory (sic)" in Iraq. non-conventional  opponent (sic) has no such burden..

Surfer Boy has no knowledge of what a real guerilla war is proving beyond doubt his total lack of experience in the military. The bad people in Iraq have turned the Iraqi people against them by killing thousands of Iraqis purposefully while they cowardly avoid confrontation with American troops.

They tried it in Fallujah and were slaughtered.

They tried it in Ramadi when they ambushed three squads of 2nd Battalion, 4th Regiment Marines in the dead end streets of Ramadi and they were slaughtered by fewer than 50 Marines.

"the US has lost. and i am glad. everything you see over there now...whatever was voted in...."tastes great" or "Less Filling", whatever has the permanence (sic) of a house of cards on the back of a humpback."

Like his fellow Santa Barbara Surfer chicks and boychicks during Vietnam, Surfer Boy has declared defeat for the United States like his soul mate Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean. Like Dean and the surfer chicks and boychicks, he’s "glad" the "U.S. has lost."

Dean can’t deny being "glad" for he is the one who said he "hates Republicans." Dean, like Surfer Boy, never militarily served the United States of America; like Surfer Boy he detests men and women in military uniform and wishes they would all go away.

For those who don’t know, National Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean’s family physician (on retainer by the ultra-rich Dean family) wrote a letter to Dean’s draft board claiming that Howard Dean had lower back-aches. That letter convinced the draft board to exempt Dean from military service with the notation –UNFIT TO SERVE. 58,000 Americans without Dean’s family riches and family doctor died in Vietnam.

Howard Dean spent his post-college graduation winter celebrating his UNFIT TO SERVE status ski-bumming his way around Aspen.

Are Surfer Boy and ski-bum Howard Dean right? No. Are they even close? No. These Surfers and Democratic politicians are not only bad spellers, they are mentally and politically delusional. Despite Surfer Boychick and Howard Dean not possessing any patience, President Bush and the Iraqi people seem to be patient and for once patience is more than a virtue, it is a blessing.
