Minutemen: Rally to Arms – The Battle of the Hoes Begins |
The annals of history will laud their historic courage, their valor and sense of fair play by waging a war on the enemy's turf, on an even playing field, in the absence of guns and deadly confrontations. No more intimidation and bully confrontations with unarmed victims in the Sonora desert. With sweat and tears these brave Americans will face their enemy and will route him. The battle of the hoes, as it will be remembered, will be the inspiration to future generations. The call to arms (hoes) and recruitment centers in the San Joaquin Valley - Bakersfield, Fresno and Stockton - beckon the brave and patriotic Minutemen of America who so nobly served their country in Arizona, Texas and California, to enroll in this worthy cause. Thousands upon thousands of these heroes are expected to answer the call to duty and country. And all America, and the media, anxiously wait for the outcome. Their much decorated and heralded leader, John Gilred,* announced: "By replacing them at their place of work and taking away their minimum wage jobs, these bandits who take away our jobs will be forced to go back to where they came from ... or starve since they don't qualify for unemployment insurance. This is the brilliant strategy of our movement." Brilliant indeed. Finally someone has come to the rescue and formulated a real solution to the challenge. Our congratulations to the Minutemen. And all along we thought they were just wannabe bully lawmen looking for an excuse to show off American might at the expense of the unprotected and vulnerable victims of global economics. Shame on us. |
