I just read an
article you wrote in favor of matricula
cards. Im against them. However you
said, or seem to imply at the very least,
that we whom are against are stupid,
racist, bigots or ignorant. You also said
we are anti Mexican {anti-Mexican
groups}. Well, I suppose I am not pro
Mexican. Im an American. Im
pro USA! To equate Americans that have a
reasonable argument against how they are
treated is not ignorant or stupid.
However your position may be. Judging by
your last name and whom you are writing
for, we probably share some of the same
ancestry. How can I be a bigot or a
racist of my own kind? You seem to be
implying that we 'half breeds' dont
have the ability to recognize at least
half of our ancestry. Id be
interested to know how you feel about all
the Latinos in Douglas, South Tucson, Nogales,
Sierra Vista and other area locales whom
are also against this. Or do I already
know? Id presume to say youd
think they are elitists who have given up
Mexico in favor of being United States
Citizens! What exactly is it you Anti
Americans have against the USA? Im
a United States Citizen. Are you?

You are correct.
The Mexican government has every
right to issue identification cards to
its citizens. However, the US is
under no obligation to recognize this
identification. Mexican citizens
who are here as tourists or are applying
for legal residency would have other
documentation.
The matricula consular ID's are just a
flimsy attempt to give legitimacy to
Mexican
citizens who have broken the laws of this
sovereign nation and reside here
illegally.
From: xxxxx - doodlebuugg@netzero.net
We've a right to be
pissed off. Those ID's should be a
red flag to anybody that the person
carrying it is illegal and should be sent
back to Mexico post haste.
BTW (by the way), if you're going to send
me an email telling me I'm racist, don't
bother because I don't care.
From: Haydee Haypav@aol.com
I am a Hispanic and
I think you are pulling the poor gringos'
legs by trying to sell them on the
matricula consular. If I try that stunt
in Mexico, I'd have my butt thrown in a
Mexican jail so fast I won't know what
happened! The Mexican government sure has
"c_____s!
From: David S
Martin xlch69@hotmail.com
What seems to be
your malfunction? We are still in the US,
right? Or maybe not in your opinion. Will
we give up and lay down to Mexico or
fight for the days when Americans did not
lock their doors, when we, as, Americans
waved to their neighbors. I am, a Flag
waving, Mom and Apple pie, baseball
Patriot! If you are not, get on the bus
to Cuba, you are a commie! If you do not
like the US you have the right to go
somewhere else.
From: Randell Minuteman2us@aol.com
In your article you
refer to ANTI-MEXICAN forces.it should
read ANTI ILLEGAL ALIEN FORCES. Those
"forces" are also made up of
Latinos [who came here legally] and do
not want the third world culture from Mexico
following them and plaguing their
children. I LEGALLY attained permanent
residency status in Canada. I used
legally sanctioned id that the Canadian
government accepted as valid. I didnt
use id that can be easily faked.

Hey slime ball,
What part of illegal
do you not understand? When your
other allegiance down south f___s up and
starts a war, be sure you will hang for
your hate columns. This bullshit is
not going to last forever. Our
ancestors blood still flows in our
veins.... You see, a lot of
us understand that those people from Mexico
are not coming here to become Americans.
Civil war will come soon....Is it true
that the average Mexican uses over
$55,000 in taxpayer services beyond
his/her contribution? That is going
to end. That is when the trouble
will start. Your people should have
used the $24,000,000.00 in GOLD that my
ancestors paid them in 1860 for the Southwest
US for your people.
You are a traitor
and you will pay for that.
Good Luck.

So, what you are
saying when they invade this country they
bring proof of Mexican Citizens, please
give me a break. The only purpose for
this identification is to give the
impression to the folks invading this
country that they have ID. I live
in a city where these illegals are
presenting these cards as ID and the
police are still arrested them.
Finally, after 30 years immigration is
the number one issues, especially illegal
immigration from Mexico. Mexico
will do anything to keep these folks in
the USA. One thing for sure, it is a good
way to do a count of these individual who
are hell bent on over populating this
country. I see any end to this agenda
within a few years. Mexico and
Mexicans need to stop threatening this
country it will end in a war between the
two cultures.
From: Nancy
Crandell Long, Anaheim, CA GLong555@aol.com
Will you please tell
me why you feel it is necessary to use
derogatory terms and identify those
opposed to the use of the Mexican
matricula card as
"anti-Mexican"?
Did it ever occur to you that we
Americans might just think that any
VISITOR to our country ought to have a
legal US document on their person which
they could use for ID? If I were to visit
Mexico, I would not object to being
required to obtain a Mexican-issued
document to be used for identification
while in that country.
As for when our local police stop a
Mexican visitor and request
identification, I want to know how our
police are going to know if the offered
matricula card is the real thing or a
knock-offs? I doubt our police will
have access to the Mexican government's
database.
Finally as for the banks that so eagerly
opened bank accounts for Mexicans
residing in the US, do you know if the
accounts are federally insured? If so,
how are the banks doing that without a
legitimate Social Security card? If
the accounts are not federally insured,
do the banks advise their clients?
Many of us feel the Mexican government is
showing disrespect for our nation's laws.
I doubt Mexicowould be happy if the
tables were turned. I note that
while Mexicans may buy property in the U.S.,
the Mexican government does not allow US
citizens who are not of Mexican heritage
to buy land in Mexico.
While Mexico whines about the
"rights of migrants" (who have
entered the US illegally), they failed to
demonstrate any concern for elderly
Americans who leased land in Mexico in
good faith, built homes, then lost them
when the Mexican court finally ruled in
favor of different land owners. Mexico
did not order the land owners to
compensate the Americans for the
"improvements" to the land.
"Screw the gringos" is the
mantra of the Mexican government. After
all, the US stole their land in the
1840's! (forget that as in all wars, the
spoils go to the victor!) If Mexico
had won the war, you can bet they would
be jealously guarding their land to
prevent illegal entrants!!

Despite what you
believe, Americans are not ignorant on
the subject of issuing Matricula
Consulars to Mexicans living in the U.S.
What you don't seem to understand is
that, for the most part, only an illegal
alien would need to apply for a Matricula
Consular after they have already arrived
in the U.S.. A legal alien living in the
U.S. would already have any of a number
of official documents in their possession
including a passport, a birth
certificate, any of a number of different
types of visas issued by the U.S.
government, a "green" card, or
a foreign-issued driver's license or ID
card that they would have brought with
them when they legally entered the U.S.
By using any of the above documents, a
legal alien could easily apply for a
driver's license or ID card from any of
the 50 states.
So then, why would
someone already in the U.S.need to apply
for a Matricula Consular? I could
understand if someone decided to apply
for a Matricula Consular before coming to
the U.S., just to have an extra form of
ID in their possession. But if a person
is legally in the U.S., wouldn't it make
more sense for them to apply for a
state-issued driver's license or ID card?
A state-issued driver's license or ID
card would certainly prove more useful to
an legal alien and it could be used for
many more purposes here in the U.S. than
a Matricula Consular could.
Consider for a
moment if a police officer here in the U.S.
stopped someone for whatever reason and
asked to see some ID. The person pulls
out some type of foreign-issued ID card
that shows that he is from France or Russia
or Japan or Somalia or Argentina or China.
That ID card might prove who the person
is, but if that person is indeed in the U.S.
legally, he should be able to produce
some documentation issued by the U.S.
government or one of the 50 states. If
not, there is a good chance that he is in
the U.S. illegally.
On the subject of
the best use of a police officer's time,
I hope you are aware that a lot of crimes
are committed by illegal aliens. In California,
more than 1 out of 4 of the inmates in
that state's prison system are illegal
aliens. So not all of the illegal aliens
in the U.S. are here solely to look to
work. I feel that it makes good sense for
a police officer to closely scrutinize
the activities of anybody who can't prove
that they are in the U.S. legally.

It's the dream of
tens of millions of Americans that the
millions of Mexicans in this country be

Your article
regarding the Matricula Consular attempts
to say that many legal immigrants don't
have ID. You and I know this is
patently false. It's impossible to
be legal without being issued 'papers'
which can be used to obtain photo id.
Cool it with the BS, people with average
intelligence can see through your
manipulations of truth.

Matricula Consular
is being use for money laundering for
criminals. We must demand zero tolerance
of illegal immigration, enforcement of
our immigration laws, deportation of all
illegal aliens and place our military on
the borders to protect America and
Americans. To fund this war, we
need to implement asset forfeiture laws
against the illegal aliens, the
businesses that hire them, the vehicles
that transport them, and the homes of
those who harbor them. Asset
forfeiture has the duel purpose of
removing the financial incentive for
illegal immigration, and funding of this
war.

The Matricula card
is more than you suggest; just a form of
identification.
Citizens of America
must show a social security card or other
identification that proves citizenship to
open up a bank account, drive a vehicle,
get insurance for the vehicle, get a job,
obtain mortgages, etc. Just because some
institutions are breaking the laws and
allowing illegal immigrants to disregard
them, doesn't mean that we should turn a
blind eye. What's the most important
thing that I don't think you realize is
why people feel so strongly against your
views.
I'm thirty years
old, and for as long as I can remember I
have pledge my allegiance to this great
country or ours. I use the term
"ours" because we feel a sense
of pride and ownership to this nation. We
pledge our allegiance without having a
court order to make us. We do it because
we love America.
So, when we hear
that an estimated 10 million illegal
immigrants are getting jobs that reduce
the working wage, getting bank accounts
and while sending money out of the US
economy, using up natural resources,
speaking foreign languages openly and
rudely in public, and pledging allegiance
to their native country, we will not
change our beliefs and we won't be happy
about the direction our country is going.
Can't you see this?
You have been so used to the politicians
pandering to your complaining, that you
forget to realize that the politicians
don't speak for me or for the majority of
citizens. We are proud of our language,
customs, beliefs. We don't like it when
people come over here, speaking foreign
languages, bending our laws, protesting
constantly, and doing all this
ILLEGALLY!!!!!
You may think that
us 170,000,000 people who disagree with
you are silly, dumb, and ignorant, but be
clear; we aren't going anywhere and just
because we don't openly protest, our
allegiance and determination to this
country is much stronger than yours will
ever be.

First of all I would
like to inform you that every time I read
about a Hispanic American (if you are a
citizen?) going along with the notion
that the Mexican ID card is fine and
dandy makes me ashamed of being Hispanic,
that's right Mr. Osio Jr. I am ashamed of
the lawlessness most Mexicans go along
with. Just take on look at the country of
Mexico, the reputation it has tells it
all doesn't it? Americans don't even want
their trucks in this Country. Everyone
knows that a Mexican National that needs
to obtain a Matricular Consular ID card
is most likely a Mexican National that
criminally entered the United
States illegally! As
an American citizen I object to people
like you turning this country into
another Third Worldcesspool. What other
criminal acts are fine and dandy?

Mexico is full of
billionaires and rich fossil fuels; yet,
the corrupt 3rd world officials
love exporting their poor Mestizos, so
they wont have to think outside of
that proverbial box.
Imagine if they
would be forced to solve their own
population problems and produce jobs for
their own people.
All we Americans
have to do is shut down the borders for a
couple of months and force them to do so.
The Mexican
Nationals dont need the matricula
card; all of a sudden the Mexican news
stations and radio stations are screaming
for their illegal army to run and get one
promising the world.
Our country was
founded on revolution not what the global
market will bear.
Once again you
attempt to dictate the laws of the
American Constitution. Apparently
YOU are the IGNORANT one.
Americans are
anti-ILLEGAL ALIENS,AND YOU ARE SHOWING
YOUR TRUE AGENDA WITH YOUR LIES.
The corrupt Police
chiefs accept them as their careers are
limited at this juncture in history.
Every major city is seceding from filthy Los

can go down where they deserve.

You're a
f___ing asshole!
Illegal aliens are illegal.
They are unwanted, unneeded and
uninvited. They depress wages and
cause social unrest and they permit Mexico
and Guatemala to remain corrupt and
impoverished. They must go and they
will go, sooner or later. American
citizenship is not a joke.
