The Sliming of
the President
By Raoul Lowery
Contreras/HispanicVista.com
The brawl among Washington
reporters and President Bush has reached
new lows with the constant sliming by
sleazy partisan non-veteran reporters on
the Presidents honorable service as
a Texas Air National Guard officer.
This question is of
paramount importance among Hispanics
because military service ranks so high
among this, the fastest growing segment
of the American population and a segment
that, among combat arms units, has a
higher percentage of troopers than their
share of the population, according to
Department of Defense information.
Recalling that
Hispanics gave President Bush an 89%
approval rating, higher in fact than
among other Americans, after the attack
of September 11th, Hispanics need to know
whether allegations by Democratic
operatives about the President are true
or not. Did President Bush serve
well in the Texas Air National Guard,
yes, or no?
This, by the way, is
not the first time the Texas National
Guard has made news. The Texas
National Guards history will be
discussed shortly.
The big question
is: Did President George W. Bush
fulfill his 6-year obligation to the
Texas Air National Guard from the time he
enlisted to his honorable
discharge? Yes, he did and no one
can question that, no one. His documents
are now out for all to see and he was
discharged honorably, period. Each of his
six years were carefully documented by
the number of activity points he earned
and his pay records. A Guard
officer needed 50 annual points to serve
as obligated. President Bush earned
more than the points necessary each year,
period.
Two sub-questions now
come to mind: One, did he report
for duties in Alabama while he was there
in parts of 1972 and 1973? Yes, he
did. There is no evidence he didnt,
nor anyone who can publicly state and
prove that he didnt. The then
commanding officer of the Alabama Air
National Guard states, confusingly, that
he doesnt remember Lt. Bush
reporting in to the Alabama unit, but
states also that he doesnt even
remember if he was on the air base during
that period of time.
While no other paper
work has surfaced about this period of
time, over thirty years ago, one document
has: A dental exam performed in Alabama
by a National Guard dentist, signed,
dated and affirmed to by the
dentist. Question: If Lt.
George W. Bush wasnt on the Alabama
Air National Guard base during the period
of time in question, how did he get a
dental exam on that Alabama Air National
Guard base?
Finally, putting to
rest any possible argument that Lt.
George W. Bush wasnt in Alabama
when he was supposed to be comes a
retired Lt. Colonel, now Mr. Calhoun, who
was the Alabama Air National Guards
Safety Officer during the months involved
in 1972 and 1973. He states that
Lt. Bush reported in for duty. The Alabama
unit had different planes than Lt. Bush
was qualified to fly, thus, he couldnt
fly. He spent his drill time
reading safety manuals and reviewing
accident reports for the Safety Officer.
They had lunch together.
So, despite stupid
White man Michael Moores labeling
President Bush a deserter, a
charge supported by retired four star
general and failed Presidential
candidate, Wesley Clark; and the
accusation by Democratic national
Chairman Terry McAuliffe that President
Bush was AWOL and didnt
serve in the military, we know from
all of President Bushs military
documents and from at least one
eyewitness, a then anonymous President
Bush served honorably and completed all
Guard requirements necessary to be
discharged honorably.
The feeding frenzy
among the anti-Bush press corps can be
ascribed to no history of military
service by almost 100% of these reporters
who ask the stupidest questions ever
asked by people paid to ask
questions. Reason: Almost without
exception, they havent served in
the military. Thus, they are ignorant and
publicly display their sleazy ignorance
with their questions.
Did National
Guardsmen in 1972 or today ever arrange
to miss weekend drills to be made up
later? Yes, it was and is standard
practice. Thus, the 19 days active
duty President Bush served in 1973
obviously made up for any drills
missed. Did National Guardsmen then
and now ask for early release for reasons
such as attending college or doing
graduate work? Yes, as President Bush did
when he asked for an early out of Guard
duty so he could attend Harvard Business School.
Yes, as Democrat John Kerry asked to
leave the U.S. Navy early so he could
unsuccessfully run for Congress. Is an
Honorable Discharge indicative that a
person served like he was supposed
to? Yes, period. President Bush was
honorably discharged.
One more situation
should be addressed: Were Stupid
White Men (The title of Moores
rancid 2001 book) Michael Moore and Terry
McAuliffe aware that their charges
against President Bush of deserter
and AWOL are criminal
accusations because these are criminal
offenses in the military? They
probably did not, because these two
stupid White men have no clue about the
military because they did not serve in
the American military.
These incompetent
partisan people masquerading as reporters
today embarrass their profession by their
witch hunt against former Lt. George W.
Bush of the Texas Air National Guard, He
served TAD (For those ignorant reporters
and Democratic politicians who have never
served in the military, TAD means
Temporary Attached Duty) in the Alabama
Air National Guard.
In a fitness report
we now have, Lt. Bush was reported to be
an exceptional officer who
was ranked in the top ten percent
of contemporary officers in the Texas Air
National Guard by his commanding
officer.
Et tu-- Michael
Moore? Terry McAuliffe?
