Terrorist Lose Another Battle

By Raoul Lowery Contreras/HispanicVista.com

Americans are being attacked every day in Iraq by terrorists, terrorists will lose the fight, however, for freedom, while expensive, is far more powerful than whatever the terrorists have in mind.

The fight for freedom is not limited to Iraq, however.  Our freedom and liberty are under assault right here in the United States not by foreign terrorists but by homegrown Americans. These homegrown anarchists are determined to destroy America for political and racist reasons that have little acceptance by the rest of us who live and breathe America.

Remember when eco-terrorists set fire at a car lot in Southern California in an attempt to destroy Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), eco-terrorists who appeared on video tape to be young white males.

Remember when terrorists set fire to and destroyed a $50 million condominium project in San Diego leaving behind a banner proclaiming their presence and cause.  The project was being built on an open field the terrorists wanted to remain “unspoiled.”

Eco-terrorists have burned properties, defaced buildings they don’t like, killed people by bombs, turned laboratory animals loose, thrown paint and blood on women wearing animal furs and attempted to turn children on their parents with vicious propaganda that, like most propaganda, is untrue, misguided and totally one-sided.

Publicity is something these people crave and work hard to get, but there are times they want little because of their underhanded and underground attempts at power grabs they don’t want others to realize before the fact.

The Sierra Club election that was concluded earlier this month is a great example of a terrorist attempt at a takeover of a mainstream organization with a fat treasury and a national membership of over 700,000 people.

Mexican hating immigration critics attempted a takeover of the Sierra Club’s Board of Directors in 1998 and failed.

This year, with five open board seats on the ballot, anti-immigration fanatics launched a well financed campaign to elect five of their own so they could join three other anti-immigration critics already on the board of directors. The cabal would then turn the environmental advocacy group into an anti-immigration group.

This campaign did not occur in a vacuum.  Pulling the strings of the anti-Sierra Club establishment group of upstarts was the man who personalizes disdain for the aged, for minorities and, specifically, for Mexicans.  His name is Richard Lamm, former three-term Democrat governor of Colorado.

Lamm has called for killing people over 65 because they cost society too much to keep alive when they are sick. The respectable term for Lamm’s position is euthanasia.

On the subject of Mexicans, Lamm has recently announced his support of Dr. Samuel Huntington’s racist diatribes calling Mexicans the greatest threat to America in its entire history. Forget Hitler, Tojo, Stalin and Confederate President Jefferson Davis, Mexicans are the enemy.

His anti-Mexican and anti-immigrant positions were at the heart of his campaign for a Sierra Club board seat.  However, despite his “stature” as a former state governor, Lamm was not an independent candidate for the board.  Working behind the scenes and pulling Lamm’s strings was the political terrorist John Tanton of Michigan.

Lamm and Tanton were close associates in a group called Zero Population Growth, a fanatical pro-abortion, “family” planning anti-Catholic organization dedicated to an America with half the population it currently has and to limiting not only births, but all immigration, especially of those who are Roman Catholic.

Tanton has spawned a number of organizations as front groups for his tightly organized political terrorists.  He raised his seed money from the disreputable Pioneer Fund; a non-profit organized by American Nazi Party founder Harry Laughlin in the Thirties.

That money was used to fund groups such as the Federation For American Immigration Reform (FAIR); the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS); for a publication edited by Roy Beck titled Social Quarterly and for Beck’s current front organization, NumbersUSA.

His prints were all over the attempted takeover of the Sierra Club and its $100 million budget.

Sierra Club members, like the general public, are not easily swayed by extremism and fooled by political terrorists even when they hide behind a former state governor.

The election results for the Sierra Club Board of Directors were released and they manifested a total rejection of political terrorism.

The “Honorable” Richard Lamm received but 13,090 votes out of well over 100,000 votes.  The least amount of votes garnered by a winning director was 110,000 votes.  None of the political terrorists won a seat on the board.

Once again, Americans, given a choice to reject extremism, have rejected it.  The terrorists, however, will not surrender, they will keep trying to take over the Sierra Club and other respectable organizations, and they have so stated on the Southern Poverty Law Center labeled “hate site,” Vdare.com.

Americans say, thanks for the warning.
